Thanks buddy. I’ve been trying to post since early afternoon and every picture got only an IMG sign, or the file was too big, or it posted smaller than my avatar picture. Spent 5 hours deleting and downloading. Now it suddenly started to work correctly again, frustrating but I glad it’s back to normal for me.

Yes, that CF Merlot is really sharp, I like it too, thanks again. What’s extra nice is that the CF is on both sides unlike so many other brands that only put it on the show side.

Nice, have you tried Imgur? I use the large thumbnail or huge thumbnail and it seems to the be the perfect embedded size, then copy the thread for BB code and you should have no problem with file size. I have started using the Imgur app on my phone and it is easier to upload the pictures directly from my phone camera to the Imgur app then use the browser on my computer to upload the imgur link. Saves me a much of time not having to import the pictures with a usb cord or email etc. and it keeps the quality of the picture high.

No, I have not tried that yet. I’m just taking the photos with my iPad and then next to reply is Upload File, I press that and it shows Photo Library, I press that and select the photo I want from my saved photos, it shows a blue check mark for the photo I choose and then I press Done, it automatically downloads and either the file is too big and I cancel and crop the photo, or it successfully downloads and I have the option of Thumbnail or Full Size, I choose Full Size and touch screen where I want the photo inserted and press More Options, then press Reply To Thread.

It took me longer to write this than it does to post a picture, haha. Taking the picture to begin with is the most time consuming of all. I may take 50 photos durn different times of day outside just trying to get different lighting or backgrounds, all while doing morning chores. If it’s such bad weather outside, then I’ll try inside the home. I just like the natural light outside I and try that first. It’s all good, but soon I’ll have to break out the good camera I use for bird pictures as that takes the most amazing and most beautiful pictures cause all you guys really put me to shame with all the quality photos you all post.

No worries, I would only suggest imgur since the 1.8mb max is going to be a big deal if you have kind of decent camera, my average picture with my S10 is 4mb so I often have to shrink the pane to get to 1.8 and sometimes I lose half the picture. Imgur can be uploaded in full size and integrity isnt lost. Try the above steps and see how it works for you. Good luck!

Yes, I see what you mean now. Most of the afternoon I was test shooting some knives and saving the best for later on. I see what you mean as far as file size being downloadable, some of mine are such high resolution I lose 50% of the size and even more of the quality so easily trying to attach as a file here. Just doesn’t do it justice at all. I like what you suggested and I will investigate that as a viable option, especially because the picture quality will suffer if I don’t do it another way. Some of the shots I got are just jaw dropping, I might even impress the big guys, haha. Again, thank you for your time and information, I really do appreciate it.
