The Pro-Tech TR-2 is pretty special. Back when Dave Wattenberg founded Pro-Tech and was assembling his knives from home before opening up a shop, the vendors that made his parts goofed up on a batch of knives. They were supposed to grind the normal spear point, but instead ground a false edge into it, which shortened the ricasso and made it so that the logo had to be put on the handle instead. At the time, Dave couldn't afford to just toss these since they were still legit fully functional knives. Super rare. Only about 20 of these were made before they caught the mishap. Some pretty cool Pro-Tech history. Plus being an original TR-2 with those skeletonized handles are just flat out cool regardless of the history attached.
