Wondering if I missed an explanation that covers which models of what Fiddleback plans to do in terms of production knives. I know the line up is small now - will it eventually cover every model? Really excited by this although it doesn't replace the satisfaction of product and process involved in getting the full customs.

As of right now, the Bushfinger, Hiking Buddy, and Runt are up for sale. The only other model that has been announced (as far as I know) is the Camp knife. We'll see what the future holds for the other models.

Thanks - that's great to know. I am really hoping for some of his spearpoints to show up like the Asp, the Wasp, the Shank, and the Scorpion. It's also nice to have direct access to a stainless version to complement the carbon custom.

This. I really need an Asp in stainless.

Right now the lineup is the Bushfinger, Hiking Buddy and Runt. The Camp Knife is already at the Blade Grinders and the scales are here already. The sheath prototype is also inbound. The next model will be a small run of Bushcrafters exclusive to Derrick, and then the Duke, Bushboot, and Kephart. This is my goal for rounding out the first year. I think the Asp, and maybe the Sneaky Pete will be in there by next year. By next year I'd also like to have a lot more handle choices available as well.

That's exciting. I'll grab the Asp and a Bushboot for sure! Looking forward to handle options as well. Guess I'm going to have to wait and hope on the wasp and scorpion.

I didn't expect there to be a production Bushboot as well, a few buddies on another forum will be delighted to hear this.

Are there any plans to do some scandi production versions in the future too perhaps?

I do have aspirations to do the Nessmuk. Likely next year though. I do not plan to do any scandi's though. Those are best/easier configured and made in house.

I am surprised the Recluse isn't being discussed. It is such a popular and useful model. A Recluse in S35VN would be the ultimate skinning/game cleaning knife IMO.

The Recluse will definitely be among the line soon.

It is very good, but almost as rare as hens teeth ;)

Looking forward to seeing 3V on the Camp, maybe Andy will start liking it and try out some spalting later :D

From pictures I see Production Camp Knives being worked on and was wondering if any "new" models were in the shop? :D

As always, thanks for the great products you guys/gals put out weekly!!

We just received the mock up for the Duke. I think this is going to be my personal favorite of the production knives thus far. But I'm partial to the Duke anyway. It'll be 5/32", S35VN, w/ the same handle options as before - black or natural canvas micarta. We've also incorporated a hidden lanyard hole in the base of the tang.

Not far behind the Duke are the bushboot and kephart, both in 1/8" IIRC.

We've also got a new batch of 12" and 16" machetes blanks in, along w/ canvas micarta handles cnc'd by Nathan. Once we get the new shop running smooth we'll be getting to those asap. If folks are looking for machetes I believe The Knife Connection has a few 16"s left in stock. We are plum out here in the shop for the time being.

Nice. I'm looking forward to those.

So glad to hear that! I'm looking to get this done on my production Bushfinger before I go ahead with a production Camp knife purchase.
