OK, the Bushfinger project is out in the world, but we still have big goals to tell you about. The Hiking Buddy and Runt are in process now, and the Camp Knife is to follow. Both the Runt and HB will be out of 1/8" thick CPM S35VN. The Runt will come with a wallet style sheath and the HB will feature a square bottom bushcrafting style sheath with no firesteel loop this time. The Camp Knife will be out of 3/16" thick CPM 3V!!!

Just a quick update.

I think you'll have a hard time keeping up with production between the Runt and the Camp Knife. :D Those will be sellers! Sounds really exciting Andy!
 
We're only doing 100 camp knives in this run!
 
You dont by chance have a preliminary price point on the camp knife do you? Want to have funds available when they hit. Thinking closer to 300 or 400?

On the Camp Knife we've only got the first quote for steel and waterjetting so far and it is 60% of the total cost of the Bushfinger with sheath!!!! Holy Moly! No idea of the price point on it yet.
 
That's cool to see all of what's in the works! And I'm very happy to hear the Runt n HB are thin. These are gonna be great for sure.

I'm pleasantly surprised the Camp is 3v. :) THATS gonna be cool.
 
Thanks for the update Andy. I got rid of all my knives bigger than my Duke last year, though I know in practice, I don't use them as much as other knives, I really miss having a big knife. The production camp knife sounds like a must buy! (and the runt...and the hb....and the bf.....) very exciting to see Fiddleback prospering in different ways.
 
Awesome! I eagerly await the HBs as I think they will be a perfect first knife for my boys.
 
When I saw that IG post with the mid-tech Hiking Buddy I thought to myself that we found an answer to the question of the first knife to get our kids

After I satiate my hunger for custom Fiddlebacks I will take a very hard look in a set of production knives
 
Awesome! I might have to snag up one of the camp knives once they're available. I've been wanting to try something in 3V.
