Production Sparrow News Thread

As an update I sharpened all the chips out with exception of the chip on the tip. I lessoned it but didn't get it all this time. It really didn't take that much. used a course diamond then went finer and finer. Its back to really sharp. I love this blade but I learned be a little careful. Always keep a hard use CPK handy. 🤣
What's a CPK? Cheap pocket knife?

So someone needs to make me a sharpened screwdriver like a couple other companies make. 😁
I'll leave that to those other companies 😂 or you could just buy something from the early 2000's, the 'overbuilt knives' era. Like a gen 3 or 4 hinderer 😂 man I made so much money off regrinding those things so they would actually cut!

Sounds like you should carry one of the CPK sharpened prybars (Fireman’s tool) probably actually may come in handy for you given your line of work. You could beat the tar out of that one. Nate says it’s unbreakable without Hydraulic tools to intentionally break it (I believe it was).

Only problem with that is unless my guys get there quick I'll just tear the door off the hinges. On a serious note I do need to look for something. This isn't the first time just the first time I've posted about it.

Just to make you feel like you’re not alone.

I have 3 knives that I broke the tips off of when I worked in construction. It’s just the nature of it.

A Kershaw, a CRKT and a Benchmade. Haha. Oops. I carry a small pry tool now.

Oh hey!! REK Knives REK Knives new idea…the perfect pry tool. Hit me up, we will brainstorm. 😁

Josh already passed on the idea. We gotta go elsewhere. 😁

I use to break my cheap kershaws at work all the time. Then I found this place and went down some rabbit holes and as they got more expensive, I stopped doing stupid things with them 🤣😂
Exactly right Josh... What you are saying is... Dan needs a custom from me! Then he would baby it and NOT use it as a pry tool - right Dan? 😂😂😂
