does anyone own enough of the production variants of the top companies knives to do a side by side comparison pic of all the major players that get the most thread time on the forums here?

I think a couple photos showing the size differences in the top of the top would really help some of the people that come in here seeking advice on their first survival/camp/bushcraft knife...

knives im talking about:
rat cutlery - rc3, rc4, rc6, izula
ontario rat - rtak, tak1, rat7, rat5, rat3
cold steel - master hunter, srk, bushman
fallkniven - f1, s1, a1, wm1
ranger - rd4, rd6, rd7, rd9
becker - bk1, bk2, bk7, bk9, bk10, bk11 necker,
mora - clipper, 2000
bark river - bravo 1, etc... (havent taken time to sit down and browse through these but they look incredible!)

thanks in advance!

Great thread - it has a lot of potential. I hope posters remember to ID the knives in the pics...

Well the striped one is a Dale Chudzinski and the other 2 are made by a blacksmith over the hill from me from L6 Charlie Bradley

I have a Fiddleback. Second from the left. The 2 tone Walnut one is one Charlie made that I sketched out to emphasize the fat blade stirring spoon aspect of the Nessmuk design ;)

Dyl, I love that you're using the Iggulden book as a backdrop! (That's The Dangerous Book for Boys, for those of you who've not seen it.)

Off topic: do you find you get okay groups with that HK?

That is one of those guns that I had to work to get good grouping with. When I first got it, I couldn't hit good groups. After a lot of practice, I've gotten pretty accurate with it. I find it's best shot in the Isosceles stance. It jumps around a little too much in the weaver or modified weaver. Thats just me though. Might be different with someone else.
