Can anybody recommend a professional I can send some knives to? Would like some mirrored edges and I just don't have the skill for that.
Thanks

Bryce at Petunia D. Feeble Petunia D. Feeble

He did a freaking phenomenal job of repairing a cracked edge in a kitchen knife for me and sent it back laser sharp. He is also a true gentleman and excellent member of BFC who not only contributes a lot of great content but also is the first to volunteer when there is heavy lifting to be done, does GAWs, etc... It's good to support good guys, and he is definitely a good guy.

You forgot handsome and well endowed. :D Thanks for the kind words.

I'll second other's sentiments about @razor-edge-knives and @Jason B. Both great and talented individuals.

It's not skill, just a guided sharpener and a selection of stones you lack.

Sharpening is the ONE skill/maintenance routine you need to fully enjoy this hobby. Why not get a good guided sharpener and commit to learning that skill?

A simple Lansky set with added coarse diamond stone is all you need.

I am actually thinking about getting a KME system. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

PULL THAT TRIGGER ;)

Edit: forgot to add that I love the results I get with my Lansky 5-diamond stone kit, and I am sure the KME would be even better :)

I would if I could stop buying knives off of people.
