Here are 4 very Quilted redwood blocks. Professionally stabilized at WSSI, where the stabilizer goes ALL the way through the block. Paypal preferred. Buy all 4 I pay shipping !!! $30 each. Sizes are all oversized
approx 1 x 1.75+ x 5+

(Except the shorty on the left) thats 4.5 long

These have pretty wild quilting and shimmer. Don't see this quality very often.....

**** Some of you have asked me about buying some of this redwood before, and I told you it was down to see Mike. Its back..........

Thanks for looking

Larry, got the wood today. It looks great! And thanks for everything! ;)

Oh, btw, I just got a block of spalted maple...do you know if it needs stabilization before I use it? And, I also found a set of black ash burl scales with a big void in the middle. I think they're going to work great on an upcoming project :) Thanks!

Nathan,
I should've paid more attention, I remember the black ash scales. What a bummer huh? Cut that block open and ocassionally you get a bad egg. Those are stabilized, and thought you could use them for guards or whatever you think would be cool. If that spalted maple is hard as rock, like those scales and that redwood, then its stabilized. I just can't remember what I gave ya. :o

Larry

Not a problem, my friend. I'm just happy for the score. I've got some spalted maple laying around that is just treated with nelsonite. I'll compare the one you sent to that and see if it's the same or harder.
