Chris I'm so very sorry to hear that you have taken such a blow and especially since it seemed your treatment was going so well.:(
But you keep on keeping on and hopefully this new experimental treatment will help you as much as it helped the lady in Germany!:thumbup:

And you have continuously been in mine and my extended Sweatlodge family's Smoke and Prayers and will continue to be as long as our sacred plants will Smoke on hot embers.:thumbup: :D

I can tell you that if or when the pain starts getting to be too much you may be a good candidate for a Medtronics Pain Pump....
And I can testify just how effective they are even in the short three weeks + I've had mine!!!!:thumbup:
From what I understand folks with cancer pain undergo pretty much the same surgery for having a pain pump implanted with the exception of instead of having the catheter inserted in the spine the catheter is ran to the area having the pain so that the morphine is pumped directly to the source of the severe pain itself where it will do the most good.:thumbup: :cool:

And remember there is no glory in undue suffering with pain when there isn't any medical reason to do so. I told everyone here that I'd probably be kicking my arse for not getting my pain pump when my Drs' first suggested it and with the way things are going methinks I had better be limbering up my kicking my own arse abilities.;) :D

More than ever, I find myself lurking. I won't add another post if there is one that expresses my opinion. A higher post count does not reflect the poster's IQ. There are times that this rule is ignored. This is such a time.
