Progress Thread - The Redmeadow Bowies

I'm with Scott on the etching. I think these are bearworthy for sure, but boxworthy? That could be a nice package if done right though.

The evil twin in black richlite, bronze, blackwood, and leather.

I make the stacks oversize, it gives more even lines towards the center when it gets shaped.
If anyone's is interesed in a premade block, let me know.
I don't know what idiot suggested that you make BooWees but that idiot was a genius. The evil twin sounds like it's going to be insanely cool.

I think he's an evil mastermind, with diabolical plans of cutty madness!

Oh wait, you need a catchy slogan and a hashbrown too!

I has a couple of those fancy clamps. One is even digital.

Now that I know what they're for, I need to do a WIP.
Chris, on the Flaming Hot Cheeto variety I'm averaging a 1.8329445333"(repeating of course), let me know your findings and we'll see if there is an east/west variation.

Nerds crack me up.

In the ugly duckling stage, I love stacked leather, this would be handle heavy if it were a stabilized wood I think. At 7" long, and .177" thick before taper, the blade is pretty light and doesn't offer much counterbalance, and handles can get heavy quick. The light leather let me use a stout end cap. I wanted this one to look beefier than it's fancy twin.
