Spent a lot of the last two days on the gathering spot........Got the last of the saw logs on the way to the mill(two large dump truck loads of pine and oak).........This clears up about three tent sites.....For those of you aat the spring shindig it is where the water buffalo was........Great views from there......Two trailer loads of firewood went to the house and when that chore is complete we will have another two spots for small tents......Pleas do not bring big tents ,ther just will not be enough room......

Also got a final polish on the grade around the Beckerdome......will be constructing a temp fire pit on the morrow and getting some more clean up done.......Almost ready to Rock and Roll......WooooHoooow!!!!!

All Best....

Ethan

whee!

i'm sure getting there early there's still time to dig the tiger pits and such. get some lime from the general store on the way in. good times :)

now, getting neuro-toxins on short notice, that's hard :> copperheads don't like to hold still...

moo hah hah

gold fish for the water buffalo? :)

What Bladite ment to say was he was getting "limes"...for the gin bucket. ;)

oh, that would be good too ;)

personally, i like rangpur gin :> built in lime essence...

in the gross front, is the new "grape rum" :) it's like drinking a grape popsicle but with a kick...

That sounds aweful. "oakheart" rum is pretty good, kind of a whiskey like rum.

Plus it will make the mangest beard into something even Mr.Becker would be proud of

please make this the photoiest gathering of them all for us poor saps stuck at home.

It looks like there is a gathering of some sort afoot. Was there a post I missed or is this an inside thing for Beckerheads only?

That's Awesome Ethan can't wait.... I have a small tent its considered a 3 man but really just sleeps 2 comfortably, that's what I consider a solo:).. something to small and I get uncomfortable fast, especially if you're rained in, a roomy tents not bad at all.. :D

sounds like you been busy, is there gonna be any target shooting out there?? I have 1/2" metal targets I could bring and a bunch of other stuff..

Ethan for President!

Seriously is there a better knife company owner out there then Ethan Becker?

That tent should be fine, no Taj Mahal's though, you know, the big ass 3 room jobs.

Not sure about live fire, Ethan will have to sort that out. I have a metal 22 target I'm thinking of bringing.

Dangit. I was bringing my six-man tent so I'd have some room to run around naked.

Apparently, Murph, you should bring a six man tent for Guyon.

I'm bringing the goat, the brass bell and a couple extra pairs of rubber gloves for the Saturday night "contest". Murph, if you can pick up a wading pool and some wesson oil, we're all set. I think somebody said Ark was pivot man this year. Whew!

Thank goodness. I was the one who got stuck last time, and I still haven't managed to wipe the shame from my psyche.
BTW, some of you guys might want to get in on this while there's still time: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/group.php?groupid=21
I'm still a member, but I had to submit a petition by way of a little-known grandfather/exemption clause.
