We tried olive oil one year. The goat got mad and bit a guy's testicle off.
 
On a side note, just got back from camping, and to show exactly how out of shape I am, I am exhausted and sore from chopping like, 4 inch branches of oak. Literally exhausted, my right side of my body feels like I've been bench pressing like, a whole 10 lbs.

Hey Everybody......

Tradewater, will you please cut the vocal chords on this one......The dogs have been having nightmares since last spring.......With the woodsmoke nobody notices it isn't a fine first press from Perugia....

On a more mundane note ......The benches got added to the Beckerdome.......Got the junk out of site two and did a regrade there as well...........

Hope to get a shot in on the fire pit tomorrow........May cheat and use some block and then do a real upgrade for spring.......I was supposed to get a couple of pallets of rock for my birthday but never got around to picking 'em out......Oh well, my bad.......It looks likely that we will get a bit of rain tues and we'd......That would be good as it is drier than a witches ah,ah, ah, whatever........

The weather according to the gummint weather types looks to be damn close to perfect....Chill nights and warm days......Sunny too......Star watching should be good...........

We scored 4 whole rib eye roasts for Saturday night's feast, Friday is still under consideration......You all are on your own for breakfast and lunches.........

Those who wish to indulge in a bit of second amendment fun.....please think pistols as the range will be damn short as the "range" IS the camping area..........

sharp pointy things - check.
.22 lr pistol - no problem.
cast iron cooker-thingy ready to go in the truck, no ground fire needed. :D
breakfast & lunch - still got plenty of venison & venison summer sausage so good to go.
planning on a Thursday arrival (picking Kyle up at the airport) and willing to add sweat equity for anything that needs to be done to finish prepping.
all I need is an address so I can google directions.

Well you should be, hanging out with Uncle WeirdBeard is a heck of a good time. And his cooking is pretty top notch as well.
 
So is there a spring gathering as well? Lack of funds kept me from even thinking of going this fall but if there is a spring gathering I will have to make it. If there is a spring gathering, any time frame?
