My blade "addiction" has not ( as yet ) resulted in waking up hung over, in unfamiliar surrounds with unsavory strangers as partners , with no memory of how or what had happened !

Well I do own more than I really need and do keep acquiring more however infrequently, so I guess that says it all doesn't it.

And when you get to the point where you're making them the progression is a lot like the stages you go through when you take up fishing:

Phase 1: I want to make a knife, any knife!
Phase 2: I want to make lots of knives!
Phase 3: I want to make a BIG knife!
Phase 4: l want to make the perfect knife!
Phase 5: eh, I'm just happy to be making knives.

I think I'm in phase 2 at the moment.

As long as I am not taking my knives intravenously I figure I am okay....though I prefer to miss the arteries too.
