I'm looking for a Spyderco knife that is discontinued. Haven't seen any listing for it in all the usual places(ebay and other suspect).

A Google search turned up the site mentioned in the thread title.

Never heard of them, look a bit sketchy. Then again I might just be paranoid and it might be a legitimate business.

Anybody on this board ever ordered from them?

From the About Us section:

"ProKnifeSharp is an internet based fashion store that started with the vision of providing the latest fashion items, competitive prices, and superb customer service. With the company rapid growth and large customer demand for new items, ProKnifeSharp.com soon after introduced unique apparel lines as well as costumes, handbags, and fashion accessories."

Fashion store for apparel knives maybe...?

Verbiage and grammar are very suspect.

The fact that they have so many discontinued knives at such discounts though...It's almost...Unbelievable;)

At first I thought it was a company specializing in liquidating old inventories.

But then I hit the verbiage in the "about us" section, and I could not easily find an address or a phone number, and that raised a red flag for me.

Guess I could try to order anyway and take it up with my CC company if something goes wrong, especially since now the thread is buried and will never be seen again, but I never was much of a guinea pig ;)

i note they carry the same four brands as are on the knifesilo dot com scam site, and that they use the same font and type size for info pages, like terms and conditions. their spelling is a little better, but they're not native english speakers.
That's some fine detective work, my friend. Such critical thinking skills are not often seen these days.
