Pronunciation of SOG

A simple, stupid question: Is SOG pronounced as "Ess-Oh-Gee" or like "sog" in "soggy?"

Definitely "sog" as in "soggy." I've heard those who refer to it as s-o-g, but they are few...and incorrect.
