Damn!!! $4.45 a gallon. I filled up one 100# that was empty , plus another 100# that was 1/2 full and a 25#. Left $187 there poorer.:jerkit::jerkit::jerkit:

IG, I've been running off the same 12 gallon bottle for at least 2 months. I keep expecting it to run out but it still keeps going. Last time I bought it here it was 3 bucks a gallon. Gas prices here are down to just over $2.00 a gallon. Did it take a big jump in price since the last time you got it?

Build a oil burning forge.... I'm sure there's enough oil sitting in puddles under your scooters to forge for hours :D

propane is around 3.20 here but i was hopping that it would go down now that our gas here is down to 1.84 a gallon :eek: :D and my mini copper gets 40 miles to the gallon so its almost like driving for free.

I just filled my 9 gal up today and is cost around 23 bucks:) I think it was about 2.19 gal.

Will, What are you trying to say?

I was hinting at the habit of old American made bikes to leak oil when parked for more than 180 seconds.

One of the funniest jokes I pulled as a bouncer was on a good buddy that came roaring in on his new Harley.. I got a little motor oil and poured it under his bike. Asked him to show me the bike, he cranked it up and was revving it up and stuff, I pointed out the oil. :eek: He flipped out and started going over the bike like crazy looking for the leak. When I suggested that maybe someone poured oil as a joke he said he didn't know anybody that was that big an !@#$@#! couple of minutes later he realized I WAS that big an @#$#!@$!. :D

Older models had total oil loss oiling systems for chain lube...they don't do that anymore...

If it leaks it needs to be split cleaned gasketed and glued...If everything is straight, cleaned properly it won't leak..

but there are a lot of half assed mechanics in the world...

My 47 Indian leaks, but my 85 Softail doesn't. I put some Mobil 1 10W30 in my 47, man oil leaks unbelievable.:eek::eek:
I have 4 gallons of drain oil from my truck saved. I plan on build'g the oil burning forge this spring.:D

Sounds like something I would do. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!

I don't know anything about bikes :o But;

Here, gas is half price if you have the big tank that is filled by the truck.

I got tired of taking the small tanks in to be filled.

My pick up runs on propane. While every other fuel has dropped in price, propane has not. The price of propane is 74.9 cents a liter- this price was set at the peak oil prices during the phantom hurricane scare. A Total Rip Off.
