Propane torch for heat treat - Bernzomatic Outdoor 19425?

I have the outdoor torch, it's like a cane. Can I use this in a fire brick forge? Or would I need a "normal" torch. If I can save 50 bucks it would be nice since I'm spending like it's going out of style, and my Wife wants to kill me.

Some use weed burner torches, but they are minimal. The best torch for small blade HT in a two brick forge is the MT245C from Magna. Other high output hand held torches will work. Use MAPP gas if possible. Realize that as soon as you can, building a real propane forge will be a great step forward. It can be as little as about three times the cost of a plumbers torch.
