Hi!

I have been lurking around here for a while and when I saw all the activity in the Busse Forum, I got interested in these knives. So I bought a BATAC CG with snakeskin handles in October. Wow- lots of knife in a medium size package! :thumbup:

But I couldn’t stop there, so 2 weeks later I got myself a Skeleton Game Warden. :p

Ok, looked like I was now hooked on INFI, since I started to get thirsty for more! So with a glass of single malt whisky in one hand and my credit card in the other- I gave myself a FBMLE for Christmas- #884!
(Yes- I know! Malt Whisky + Credit Card = Dangerous Combination! But I am very happy. This time! :) )
Holy smoke!!! This is a huge knife! I am happily surprised how sharp it is and such a good slicer! Didn’t expect that a knife of this size could slice tomatoes like a chef knife! :D

Then I realized that I am lost to INFI and have an addiction! So I just had to plead my case and finally I got the message from Amy-0ink: “From this day forward you shall be known as...(Drumroll please)............Boar-gen”

So here I am! I am from Europe, but hanging around in Malaysia where I, as often as I can, go for Scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and jungle trekking. So I am sure my Busse knives can be very useful during these trips since they are all users- yes also the FBMLE! No safe queens here! :)

I hope I can contribute with ideas, solutions and pictures and will do so as often as I can. As you can see of the below picture, I feel ready and have already the basic standard accessories. ;)

By the way, my first contribution (but I am sure you already know it!): Don’t pour whisky in the Busse Nuclear Shot Glass when the room you are sitting in is not well lit up! :eek:

Welcome and thanks for the pics. I'd be interested in hearing about any scuba diving adventures you do with one of your Busse's.

To answer some of your comments:

Yes, I definitely plan to bring my BATAC down into the deep next time I go Scuba diving. However, there is currently a monsoon season where I usually go but it should clear up by February/March.

I fully agree that the “madness/infidiction, it's not just a saying, it's alive”! At first I didn’t believe it, but as soon as I opened up the box with my first Busse, the BATAC CG, I could feel it’s true and very much alive! :eek:

I have some major work related stuff to take care of in January, so I will most probably be at home this month. But I have already planned the very first real job for my FBMLE and that will be to cut up our Christmas tree. But the tree looks so nice and still fresh, so I let it be for another 1- 2 weeks (if I can!). ;)

Yes, pictures from jungle trekking trips will be posted during the year! As often as I can, I take shorter trips. But this year (mid- end) I would like to go for a longer trip to Malaysia's 130 million year old rain forest. But right now I am only in the early planning stage.
