Hey guys,
I've been here off and on for a little while but never properly introduced myself, I apologize for that.
My name is Iz Turley and I'm a newbie maker from Missouri.
I've been making knives for about two and a half years and forums like this one have played a huge part in my development. So thank you to you all.
Here's a few pictures of some of my recent knives.

Please excuse the terrible photography.
I hope to hang out here and learn and possibly help out every once in a while.
God bless,
Iz

Sure make a nice introduction and then show us up, real nice.

Just kidding, nice work, always glad to meet someone new.

Welcome, from a fellow newbie. Those are some very nice blades. Your further ahead of the game than I am.

Welcome! Nice knives, I like the finish and the handles, keep up the great work!

Nice work bindlestitch! Looks like you're developing a cool style with elements from classic designs, I alway enjoy that.

Beautiful work...What is the steel?.....Dimensions?.....TAng stamp?......carl

Carl,
Thanks.
The steel on the kitchen knives is 1/8" o-1. On the hunters it's 3/16" o-1.
Dimensions are all across the board on these, anywhere from 2 1/2" to 61/2" blades.
Tang stamp is "Turley" in single letter stamps. I haven't talked myself into a custom stamp yet but I need to get one.

To everyone else, thanks for the welcome and encouragement.
You guys rock!
Later,
Iz

Nice knives, I really like your Little Piney, and nice to see another Missouri maker here. What area of Missouri are you in? I am from around the Lake Of The Ozarks area. J.D.

Nice knives, welcome to BF....

Your knives seem inspired by Scagel.
Will,
Yes sir, I love me some Scagel knives. :D I'm also inspired by W.L. Marble and Bo Randall. I know those are high standards but it gives me something to reach for....even if it is unreachable.
God bless,
Iz

J.D.,
It's great to see another Missourian on here. I was wondering if there were any others here.
I'm from Moniteau county. Just up the road from you.
God bless,
Iz

Welcome Iz, nice work! You've been busy. I hope you show more of what you're doing, and chime in here from time to time as it's obvious you have skills to share with the rest of us. ;)
