This is how I store mine:

This is awesome! I store mine so that someday I can sell them. I give them a coat of Breakfree CLP, put them into a small ziplock freezer bag, then put them back into the box they came with including all paperwork. I don't do this for my daily carry or other "beaters", just for the really special collectible ones. I then store the boxes in a locked waterproof 25 mm ammo box (the one used on the Bradley). Cool and dry is the secret to longevity.

I store mine in small cardboard and wooden cigar boxes mostly in the boxes they came in. Some are in the middle of a folded sweater,in sun glasses box and a couple of

other places.....yes I remember where they all are. I have them in 3 different rooms.

The reason I do this is if my house if ever robbed my knives are not all in the same place. Why make it Easy for a robber ? If they're all in the same place if he finds

them....he's has all my knives.

Why make it easy for him ?.......................................

I store mine (mostly fixed blades) in boxes I ordered specifically for the purpose. I wipe them down with a light coat of oil, wrap them in wax paper and store them in the box with the sheath (not in the sheath). This worked very well for me, and you can usually store more than one knife per box. Write the contents in pencil on the box end. Store the boxes in a safe with a installed Golden Rod.

Folders are usually stored back in their original packaging.

whats a "Golden Rod?

Whats with all the Fixed Blade hate? Everyone has pics of their lovely stored folders, but I see no Bravo 1's, Rat9, BK2's, F1's? I only have one folder and like 7 fixed. Could I just wrap them in a piece of silk or something? Those pelican cases look mighty pricey. I rather buy me a new knife with that price tag.
