I sharked the 11/12 DOTD Kumar Karda for $40 before you could get it. I really wanted a 14-18 incher like I just sharked today. Here's a deal for you... you make a $30 donation to Yangdu & I send you this knife (when it arrives):

I dunno if this is kosher or not, Ugly Duck. It sounds like you really have your heart in the right place, but I think per BFC rules stuff like this has to be handled offline between members. This goes double if they are non-paying. Like I said, it sounds like your heart is the right place, but i gotta lock this one down until i hear a final verdict.
 
This is a nice gesture UD. I appreciate the thought and good will towards HI. It may be better to leave a visitor message or PM instead of a public post though, you may end up with a lot of folks hoping you'll win the DOTD and send it to them at a discount.:D:D:D

The Rat emailed you several days ago but I guess it didn't go through. I thought maybe you'd fallen afowl of an early hunter.
 
I'm glad this all worked out.

Once again, guy, I don't want to come across like I was goose-stepping through a very nice-guy thread. I just had to make sure with the higher-ups that it was OK:) We try to keep the HI boards free and open and fun, but Ted and I also have to answer when the rules are bent too far.

Hope there are no hard feelings, UD. I think you are a stand up guy:thumbup:
