thanks guys for all the effort and time you guys put in.....

Thanx dude............

Although it is a labor of love for us, it certainly does feel good to know that all our hard work is appreciated.

you know, thise can't be said to often.
if it wasn't for these guys, i'd never be here to day. in fact, i don't even think i'd be that interested in balis!

so THANKS! :D

Definitely agree, great thanks to Clay and Chuck. Tony, too. If it wasn't for them and this forum in general, I'd probably still have some money in my bank. Waitaminit.... ;)

nybble: I blame myself. As penance, you're welcome to come over to my house and play with the bali's...

And I'll sixth the nomination. Chuck and Clay definitely are responsible for me signing up here, and giving me an outlet to share balisongs with everyone here.

I agree. Clay and Chuck are the guys who got me into balis, first by their websites, and later by their posts here.

I remember when I first found Clay's website, I was utterly amazed. I forget where the heck I linked there from, I didn't know what the word "balisong" meant, but once I saw that page I knew I had to have one. Bought my first china cheapie the next day :D It sucks, and I broke a handle pretty quickly, but I still have it for sentimental reasons, it being my first bali and all. :)

Chuck's amazing photos of balis made me appreciate the beauty of them more. It became more than "wow that looks cool, I bet I can do neat stuff with it." I think they're really beautiful knives, there's just something about the design that I love more than any other knife I've ever seen.

And no, we can't forget Tony. Along with the other two, he's a veritable fount of information for us newbies. I've been lurking here for about a year and a half, and I don't post all that often, I'm not a verbose guy - in fact, I have a feeling this is my longest post to date, but I love to read everything on this forum. I have started posting more now that I'm at college, so you'll be "privileged" to hear more from me ;) :p.

It's a great place, I'm glad to be a part of it, and it would not be the same without them.

Tony, I may just take you up on the offer! Perhaps when the gemini's start rolling out and I get mine I'll bring it over. That way at least it won't be completely one sided! :)

Contender has a nice side. Good thread. I agree and would also like to say thank you. All the above are a wealth of usefull info that makes this hobby infinetly more enjoyable. Keep up the good work guys. ;)

man hell.....everyone that has ever posted something usefull gets props.....hell YOU ALL GET PROPS FOR JUST BEING INTO BALISONGS!!!!

thanks guys for all the effort and time you guys put in.....

I'd like to second that. Things have been progressing so fast in the wild world of bali's recently and you guys are both helping to cause this, and keeping your vast pool of knowledge and info up to date with amazing ferocity. Thanks to all, you know who you are!:)

Some time before the balisong forum have started- the year was 1999, I think - there was a thread in the general forum probably started for Chuck. It asked for improvements for remotelly possible new models for Benchmade balis. I read the posts by Chuck and Clay and, what a error, checked his websites.
Well, I printed the thread and sent it to a friend of mine, a knifemaker called Mauricio.
Then I get to wait an year to my next bali... ;)
Thanx guys  :D

I thank you, my son thanks you, My wife, my bank account......Well, that is a story for another day. :p

If simple words would suffice to show my appreciation for all that Chuck, Clay, Tony, Payback and everyone else does, they would without a doubt be here in this post. What I CAN do is continue to introduce as many people to the bali, this forum and all the wonderful sites they give us. These guys need more exposure, as they're the best thing fighting the hollywood misconception right now.

My thanks, appreciation and respect go out to all who have made this place what it is.
