I know it's been stated many times before but I'll add my noise to the concert.
I contacted ProTech about getting some work done on my TR-4 I told them it had been apart multiple times to try different springs and lubes so I didn't expect any warranty service. They sent me an email with the form to fill out and told me they'd take care of it. I shipped the knife on 8 Feb from the APO, they got it 13 Feb and by the their morning in 14 Feb they told me they had received and would fix it up. I received another email in their afternoon of 14 Feb saying that it was done and included the tracking number for the return shipping. I got the knife back yesterday 22 Feb. The knife took exactly two weeks to go from me in Germany to them in California, repaired, and back to me in Germany. The repair seem to have been to replace everything but the handles, back spacer, blade, and safety switch everything else to include the firing button looks new. This one fast and painless repair has netted them a customer for life, if it's an auto knife it's going to be from ProTech. I'm simple and I like simple things I like talking to the same person during the process, I like that I'm notified of whats going on during the process, and I like that someone actually gave a crap about their product even if it wasn't expensive (relative).
