I bought the Godfather from an old school Italian fella that runs the local musty and dusty (but not rusty) gun shop. He literally told me "you know that thing is only good for two things. Slicing salami and scaring the sh*t out of people". Well, I'm sure he was right but this blade is also just a fun knife to play with. Great for annoying the crap out of your wife while she's trying to watch some god awful show on HGTV or E!
This knife is in very good to excellent condition. As it was purely a toy to play with, it has never cut a single thing! The blade, edge, tip and finish are all factory new. On the other hand, the anodized aluminum handles show some pocket wear here and there. All blems minimal but clearly visible in the high res photos linked below. The only other thing to mention (because I'm OCD) is that the paint on one of the 3 pocket clip screws is missing paint on the screw head. It was like that when I bought it new and never got around to asking protech for a replacement screw.
The blade on this sucker kicks like a mule! My spydie citadel, and benchmade bedlam have nothing on this sucker. It fires with an authoritative "thwack" and kick which will likely provide unexpected chuckles of satisfaction!
