I have had this knife since they first came on the market. It is in excellent condition; it has never been used or carried and still has the factory edge. It sat in my display case virtually since I got it except for taking it out periodically to admire the firing mechanism. It fires very hard with a perfect lockup.
The ProTech Godfather is an amazing auto knife that represents the influence of original Italian "Stilletto" style auto knife and Pro-Tech's modern coil spring precision. It has a 4" blade and features T6-6061 aluminum handles that are machined from solid black stock. The blade is DLC black finished 154-CM stainless steel and is heat treated to 59RC. This model has a black handle with what I am fairly sure are G-10 inlays on the handle. This is one of the earliest models. The pocket clip is marked OZ Keagy Special #04 or 15, but I cannot find any references to that so I don't know what it means.
