ProTech knives explained?

Hmmm. None of my purchases has ever been attributed to an influencer.

I pay the ProTech price because of the value I get for my hard earned dollar. When you have great stuff at a reasonable price, there's a demand for it.

I'm not saying you are "wrong" per se, because I'm an old guy and really have no idea how much influence "influencers" really have in the knife realm.

But I can't buy that 100% of the demand comes from such a source... the product, pricing, customer service etc. is where I think the demand comes from.

Exactly. Some “influencer” can hype up a product all they want, but if the product in question doesn’t have the quality to back the claims up, it’s pointless.

I own 7 Protechs and not one purchase came via an "influencer." They were purchased because they really do make quality knives, and that fact is well documented. Not because someone told me to. 😑

I own only one Pro-Tech, a CA-legal Runt. Outstanding quality; the best quality and action of any auto I’ve ever handled. And it has nothing at all to do with YouTube or any ‘social influencer’. I’ve had mine since at least 2003 or so.
