Up for consideration this post election 2020 year is a knife that could end it all with a fireworks Bang! Had high hopes to put this knife to good hard use given the construction, materials, and reputation but sometimes a knife is just too dang good for it's own good. In all my years of knife collecting haven't come across a nicer comparable blade under $1500. Lives up to its name, the Nightmare as it poses just that for any surface waiting its engagement. Features the overly build 416 Stainless Steel and Black Micarta handles, Mother of Pearl firing button, and titanium pocket clip. Under the hood is where the magic happens with dual hollow grinds mirror polished and satin flats boasting Protech on one side and Strider on the other with no other text or word cluttering going on. The durability of the original Strider SNG (even more so being SS over Titanium and micarta over G10 and button lock over frame lock) with the excellent quality and fit and finish Protech is known for. The action is tremendous and the centering perfect, the feel in hand, unforgettable, the experience, unrivaled. $OLD
