Protection for Horn Hamdles

What should be used to protect horn handles? I just bought a kukri from HI and it has horn hamdles.
 
HI has its own forum within Blade forums-under manufacturers that would serve you better for khurk questions. I use Ballistol or neats foot oil occasionally, but really nothing special. Hope you like the new blade:)
