I'm looking at removing some of the overkill from the design of the forges and have experimented with a new base. I've been using structural channel, which is way overkill. Really, who needs to be able to use the base of the forge as a jackstand? I've built a couple, taken pictures and seen how they look. Now, it's time to get rid of them. Both forges come with everything the regular forges have, including regulator and burner, and the toolrest.

The forge on the left had an upright base to hold tongs on. What I've learned is that it doesn't need the uprights to hold the tongs, they stay in place just fine. The other base still holds tongs, but and has room underneath to place tongs, billets, files, etc., without getting in the way of the active tongs above the base.
When I built the forge on the right, I failed to compensate for the extra base height. I had to break off the handle, cut it shorter and re-weld it back on so it would fit in the normal shipping box. Thus, the handle is shorter than normal, but it still looks nice.

The forge on the left is $180 + $15 shipping -- SOLD

The forge on the right is $170 + $15 shipping. -- SOLD

I accept payment through paypal or credit card over the phone.
