Handle: 5/8" mild steel with epoxied rope wrap

PLEASE NOTE: This is a prototype - fit and finish were not a main objective.

This is a 3-1/4" forge crushed steel ball MIG welded to a 5/8" bar. There is a 1-3/8" ball welded on the butt end as a stop. "Handle" is epoxy impregnated manilla rope. Head has been cold blued as well as most of the bar. Stop is drilled through and there is a manilla rope thong (not shown in pics).

It looks rough, but I took it to the grinder and it's smoother than it looks.
