Just thought you guys might like to know, that around 7:30PM, Mitch(aka Troop) became the proud poppa of a nice 2HP variable speed KMG:D. Betcha can't wait for those belts! Enjoy man you are gonna love it!

Yes-sir-ee! I have a new addition to the family. With the help of Dr. Salvati, she was delivered at exactly 7:28 PM EST! She's kind of useless without the belts, but she sure is pretty to look at! And, is she ever built solid! I'll try and get some pics up today...but, I'm kinda busy today...gotta go to the Doc today (no, not Sam.)

Nice.

Get a rotary platten.

On the 8th day the Rotary Platten was invented. (so good.) Check Rob's site.

Andy, Maybe I'm still a little dopey from the anesthesia last Thurs (I wonder how long that excuse will last:)), but I still don't get it. What kind of uses could you use that thing for? I've already gotten the flat platten attachment, which I can remove the platten, and use for a slack belt. I mean, it just looks like a re-enforced slack belt attachment. (I know that I'm wrong.) Please fill me in...I'm dying to know.
Thanks.

I thought the same thing. But the difference in the finished product is astounding. I just got mine before thanksgiving so I've only ground 9 knives on it so far. Other guys will know more, and have gone on about it before. But its a BIG difference in my work (and my pace).
