Last week I received the Riptide, Mitchell's interpretation of a 'pikal' grip defensive knife. I must say, this is simply the nicest knife I've ever owned. The grinds are impeccably clean, and the finish on both the A2 steel and G10 scales is flawless.
Execution of this classy self defense tool is perfection. When running drills, this blade notably is faster than my previous EDC, and the handle angle and curve of the blade allow stikes to flow with excellent form.
If you make another reverse-edge design, or another riptide in a different material, I'm all over it.
Certainly my new favourite maker tht I've discovered on this forum.
