Hi fellas:

Well, since we're onto hunting season, I made this Loveless style dropped hunter in the classic design with Sambar Stag scales. It sure makes a pretty knife but I hate working horn - my shop's in the basement so the wife starts griping: "it gives me a headache", " your clothes smell like bone," "take a shower before you come to bed," "don't put your dirty work clothes with mine," "can't you do that outside?" So, you can guess why I named the knife after Proverbs 21:19??!! "It is better to live in a desert land than with a contentious and vexing woman." First "I'll take it" gets it. $WITHDRAWN delivered. My paypal account is tksteingass@frontier.com Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

Best regards,

TK

I think your wife and my wife must be sisters separated at birth. :) Either that or those quote are in the manual. lol

I have a thing for the Loveless knives and you do them very well TK.

Hope you guys don't get tired of my coments. I have a sort of sickness for knives and knife making and appreciate the work of other makers.

Alan: Thanks! No one here is getting tired of hearing from you - rest assured, someone would let you know.

Very nice, as usual. To me, the scales look more like elk than sambar, but I know they can vary quite a bit.

Mick57:

Thanks! I agree with you, they do look a bit like elk - I have some elk antler and the color contrast and figure is similar.

You sure make some beautiful hunting knives. If i was'nt getting a new handgun this would be mine. Good luck with your sale.

Regards Doug

Doug: Thanks! For me, when I walk up to that deer I've just harvested, the pride of the harvest is complimented with the pride of ownership of a fine knife to complete the task.

No problem at all - a man can't have enough knives and guns, I always say!
