Sp00ked in trying to get things ready for you I played with the following. What is puzzling to me is that all three of these were anodized at the exact same voltage. The two on the left were bead blasted, then etched for 30 seconds each, then dipped to color them. The one on the far right was bead blasted only with no etch. Go figure.
Anyway, take your pick if you like them.
The one on the far left is the way I expected them to come out of the tank. The middle one is more green for some reason. As for the far right one? You got me. Its a nice even very light plum color though. What I expected was a more subdued blue/green shade. Not sure how I got mauve plum but that is the case. Its the closest thing to red I'll get I can tell you that. I doubt I could do it again if I tried for what that is worth. Call that one unique.
