The first knife I made was forged from 5160 to be my on-duty boot knife and I’ve carried it daily at work for about 16 years.

I designed it to be a rescue/entry tool and while it’ll baton through a car just fine, it’s mostly been used for throwing practice and field euthanasia of injured critters.

I recently picked up this Greco that is also extremely stout but has a very acute point.

I don’t know that I’ve ever before seen a tip that is more acute when looking from the side than looking down at it from overhead…
 
I would never try it unless I didn’t have a choice (I can’t afford to be spending $250 on a knife just to test it and break the tip off), but the Benchmade Mini Adamas seems to have a very stout blade and is made from CPM Cruwear which is rated as being quite tough. Could make a good pry bar in a pinch.
