Well I'm not sure what an Apco is but I'm guessing it's like a 7-11. Crushed ice will not be a worthy challenge for your NIP, that's why it should be a block. You can usually get them wherever crushed ice is sold, they're at the bottom of the stack.

or you can take a milk carton and fill it with water and freeze it. in theory anyway.
as far as prying bending flexing: do not attempt. it's all hype INFI shatters like an icicle.
or not i used my .187" assault shaker for a tree step and it barely budged under my tremendous 225# bulk.
I have a few small Stanley pry bars I carry. I always have at least one with me in my pack. Having said that I have done some prying on wood with several Busse knives. Since we are on this topic what kinds of things have you guys pried with your Busse knives?
I used my MRS to pry open the back sliding window on my wifes pickup, after she locked the keys in it. The knife was brand new at the time and I was scared to scratch it up, but oh well. At least I got in the truck and no broken window. This was not very hard on the knife at all, but does show their versatility when needed.
