it might seem slightly off topic, but most of us could use a nice
device like that, especially when it is only $200.
It records HD, including 1080p and 720p, can function as a 8mp camera,
focuses down to 2" and also can digitize your old VCR or 8mm tapes (or any
analog video signal).
It produces AVC-encoded files that are ready to be uploaded to a computer,
Youtube etc etc. Beware that a newer PC is required for playback if you use higher-bitrates (1080p, 720p/60Hz)
The cons: no image stabilization (thusly steady hands and/or tripod are a must) and no mike-in :grumpy: .
Armed with this gizmo, there's no excuse for owners not to share the knifemaking videos with others on this forum :jerkit: .
