This knife is thin enough behind the edge that I would not recommend Battoning, twisting or prying. It will be a pretty efficient cutter with the steel grade, grind and hardness. PSF has good edge holding.

Kydex has a detent feature.

Man, I'm jealous of the guy who gets that. I've been nothing but impressed with the one PSF27 blade I've used.

Thanks bodog! PSF 27 is a great steel with good wear resistance and toughness. I appreciate your comments by the way!

I'm seriously amazed that this is still available. It's such a great deal for such a nicely thought out and executed knife. It looks very comfortable and with the grind it has, I bet it keeps a cutting for a long time. I really wish that I had 150 bucks, I'd jump on this right now. Such a clean looking tool.

For what it's worth to those interested, I bent a fairly thin blade made PSF27 to about 20 degrees. It didn't break. I hammered on it then tweaked it back into place without it snapping. It keeps a great edge and cuts for quite a while. It's really pretty corrosion resistant considering it's toughness and wear resistance. Altogether it's a really good all purpose steel.

Sorry for posting this stuff in your thread, I'm trying to wrap my head around this knife being sold for 150 and that it's still available. Unbelievable. Damn my empty wallet.
