The bottom one is for RidgeRunner...

any info on the pricing for ATS-34 and G10?

that first orange one is pretty sweet, but it looks like the early versions have squarer corners on the handles and the later versions are more rounded.

....add 30.00 for ATS, cause it is a nightmare to grind. I think it ruins 2 belts to do a stainless knife. There may be some slight changes from knife to knife cause my stuff isnt water jet cut, it's made one at a time. Try to get it close to the original pattern though...

If I ever lose that thing I need to be kicked in the pants. I like it. What is the yellow material? g-10 also?

...unless you have some sweet clipless pedals and matching cleats laying around, needing to be installed on my road bike.... :D

oh, i understand the "some variation" bit... but if you know a customer's preference on something like that i'm guessing you can lean a little more one way or the other. :D

didn't know it tore up belts like that, but that seems like a reasonable upcharge.

how long does a belt last when grinding 1095, 01 or other common knife steels?
(not any kind of challenge or argument, i simply don't know.)

I can get 3-4 small knives PSK size out of a quality 50 grit belt. With stainless the belt is toast after 1 small stainless. I was really suprised myself in the difference! The belt simply HAS to be sharp to cut the stainless....

my clipless pedals are OLD school! the original white Look pedals and the later more streamlined black ones.

from the mid '80s.

here's the only pic i can find of them in a quick search. pic is from '84!

still work fine, still have nice Sidis set up with cleats... but don't really want to swap them because they probably don't have much trade value to most people.

sorry.

now if you'd like me to build you a nice set of wheels we can talk! (but labor only, i don't have any hookup for parts... anymore)

but on the topic of barter, once i get my new glasses i need to start work on a website for a friend who''s also a maker. so i'll also be able to do other stuff if anyone is interested; websites from scratch, no templates, business cards, logos, patterns for waterjet or laser cutting, etc.

I don't have time for a review but I wanted to tell wveryone how much I like my PSK. Ive used it for a couple months now and it has taken over my edc role. Mark made me a sweet square sheath that rides perfectly in the back pocket with only a half an inch or so sricking out. I have since also gotten a necker sheath made for when I want to go that route. Mine is convexed and easily touches up with a strop. Thanks again Mark and for anyone that wants a small fixed blade, this is the one!

PS The thing I like the most is that the handle is very comfortqble for average sized hands. I have owned many that were too rounded on the back so your finger would fall off when bearing down.

Is that Bernard Hinault? I still ride my Frog's and mountain bike shoes on my road bike.

yes, that is "The Badger".

saw him in San Francisco cranking up Telegraph Hill on the way to Coit Tower in the Coors Classic in the mid '80s.

MTB shoes work on road bikes... road shoes work fine on MTBs... until you need to get off!

i need to post a pic of my Sidi cleats... they're freakin' loud, but not as loud as some of the Look shoes were with the Mondrian inspired patterns and colors.
