while something a bit bigger would work fine and could be more appropriate depending on the kit i think this little guy has a place somewhere.

Interesting partnership. Several of us on the Swamp Rat forum strongly suspected that Blade-Tech were the real people behind the Swamp Rat Rat Trap. Many questions were asked and numerous pictures were posted but none of us could get a straight answer. It's another reason why they don't get my business, but that Rat Trap along with that little Mouse look like great small knives. Yeah, quite like the look of Blade-Tech stuff.
 
cute little knife, looks perfect for a PSK or even just a backup blade for EDC.
 
That BladeTech looks a bit like the Spyderco Co-Pilot - stubby, with a decent-sized handle. How thick is the blade?

Found it: thickness is 1/8".

its no secret blade tech did the rat trap.

its not a rumor,its a fact.

its obvious by looking at it also.i never understood the partnership anyways.all it is is a blade tech with a different name.they didnt even try to disguise the look.

side note:

i dont partner these two up.i just happened to have the YK and put it their for size reference.

i cant beat the thing for $23
