I don't want to jinx myself, but I recieved an e-mail today from Steven Dick at Tactical Knives saying that my e-mail address on the back of the Coop photo of my pitiful little ST24 clone was different than the one on my website and he was wondering which one would be better to use. Do you think that means that I might actually get pubished?:D I am planning to put an ad in their "custom showcase" section (can't beat the price) when I get a pic of a knife that is a bit more rugged and manly to use for the ad, but this would be SWEET!!!!

Yep! I would say youre in there. May take a couple more issues though. Let me be the first to congratulate you.

Thanks. I hope so, Bruce.:D I know that the ad deadline for the January issue was last week, so maybe sooner if at all. I want to put my big camp knife in the ad, but the first versio didn't turn out as wellas I would have liked, so i am doing it over and done went and missed the ad deadline. I will have an ad in the March issue and Blade too hopefully. I have 15 knives on the bench right now in varying stages of incompletion for a couple of orders and the Belgian show in November, so I will have a nice secletion from whihc to pick a couple of good looking ones...........hopefully...lol.

Man that is cool, good luck! Let me be the second to congratulate you. :D I can tell you with complete honesty, there's nothing* quite as heart-in-your-throat exciting as seeing your work in a knife magazine! Professional photography is my opinion probably the second-best way to spend money on knife making (metal band saw being the first ;)). Can't wait to see it!

*Well, that we will discuss on a public forum.

Sounds like you are going to be published.

I received an e-mail from Steven Dick confirming my contact info a couple months ago and had two knives in the latest issue of Tactical Knives.

Glad you are getting some well deserved exposure Joe

Charles
