Pulled The Trigger On My First Esse

I used to have an ESEE6 with those TKC scales. They make a HUGE difference in the feel of that knife.

Yeah Cheapest price I could find. I got the ESEE-6 Plain Edge, Rounded Pommel, Green Sheath w/ Clip Plate
and the OD green blade ESEE5. I feel bad because I got both, but im also super stoked to know both are coming.
What kind of 6 did you get?

Im stoked to be moving up from the BK9 handles but Im going to get some of those G10 scales. They look real good.

Congrats! The Esee 6 is a perfectly balanced knife. One of my favorite fixed blades.

I was already looking at those scales. This addiction is never ending.
Well to be honest I really wanted to keep the stock scales on the Esee because micarta is my favorite handle material but they were just a bit too flat and squared for me and I knew they would become uncomfortable after working with the knife for a while. Some people have no problem with them though. On a recommendation I ordered some G10 scales from the website above and those instantly felt worlds better. They are contoured and made the knife more comfortable when gripping it hard. Here's mine:
