Pulling the trigger on a TGLB

So I was all set to pull the trigger. Then I looked at my phone when I had time to call. You have to realize I have a cheap/free flip phone. It's not that I can't afford an iPhone. I just can't see spending the extra monthly fees on it. Anyway... I THOUGHT I had Busse saved in my contacts list...nope!

Plus I was about 2hrs from home and no where close to a computer.

So it'll be done tomorrow.

Well that call won't be needed. I heard back from Pokey today and shot her an email with my order. I should have it mid-October. That is around the same time I have my custom AOW (8.5" 12ga 3+1). I have a custom thigh rig for that.

Can you picture it?? A shotgun on one leg and the TGLB on the other. Mad Max ain't got nuthin on me!! :)

After some deliberation and discussion with Trident my TGLB order started as a Desert Sage / Tan Canvas, then switched to a Competition Finish / Tan Canvas, and finally to a Competition Finish / Black G10. I think the plain black will go well with the uncoated steel. 4-6 weeks here we go!
 
Sweet!

I ordered mine on 4/27, Debit card got dinged a couple days ago. I was wondering of I was going to get a tracking number. I'm going to a cabin with the fam for the week and thought for sure I would miss the delivery.

Got an email this morning and it's already I my town and to be delivered today!!

I'm doing payments because I figured it wouldn't be here for 2-3 months anyway. Are they really cranking these out that fast? If so, and I can get it in 2-4 weeks I'll just do 2 bi-weekly payments instead of 3 monthly payments.

Ohhh I forgot all about that. You had me going thinking they were really moving. I should have known better.

I guess I'll do the payments unless/until they tell me it's ready. Then I can finish off the amount to get my blade.

Until then I am Busseless. Garth got my CGBJ last week to sharpen it and take the bevel up. So all I have now are my plethora of non-Busse blades, my Regulator, and then the hope that this TGLB will get made soon.

Well I heard from Pokey today. She passed the order on to Lexi. I heard from Lexi today. She hit my credit card with the first payment. With any luck in a month or two I'll have my blade! :)

I'm psyched!! Not only will I have Daryl Dixon's knife but it is a great blade to boot!

Still not sure if it'll trump my CS Kukri for a left leg SHTF blade but it'll definitely be somewhere in my battle gear.

Bleh No excuses. Im a poor cheap SOB. I have a Virgin mobile phone ...no contract smartphone 30 bucks a month unlimited internet and text. 400 minutes but I dont Talk much. You can up the minutes and have it at 35 or 40 a mo i think.

As for this blade didnt you want comp finish?
