pulling the trigger

I'd suggest an RC-3 or an Izula. The Izula is a great EDC blade and can handle it's self outdoors camping and hunting. The RC-3 is a little longer with a fuller size handle that is totally at home in the woods doing whatever you need it to. Basicly it's just going to come down to size and what you are capable of carrying everyday.

The Izula is a great place to start and you can get into them fairly inexpensively. Lots and lots of carry options.

I started with an rc-3 loved it, used it but found i was leaving it in the truck and taking a folder day to day, so I got an izula, hasn't left my eyesight yet absolutely awesome little knife. rc-3 fits great in the carpenter pocket of pants great, but otherwise I'd recommend an izula for edc.

good question... a bit of EDC, maybe some camping, a knife to have in the car or jacket

Hello swimmerdude1127,

Your uses have quite a range so I would recommend starting with two... the Izula as the EDC & jacket knife & the RC-4 as a camping & vehicle carry. These two will cover a WIDE range of uses.

like i've said before. start with the izula, the rest are all numbered so you
know which one to buy next. oh wait theres the h.e.s.t, so you should get
the izula and h.e.s.t first.

As others have mentioned, I'd start with the Izula simply because you're going to end up with one eventually anyway so it might as well be now. :)
