The motor pully on my 100lb Little Giant power hammer needs replaced. It is a flat belt pully that fits on a 1" shaft. The outside diameter is 3 5/16" and the pully is 5" long. The outside of the pully seems to be some kind of fibre.
I found one on McMaster Car that might work.
Any one know where else I can get a replacement?

I and many other people with this hammer are just running two B. size v belts of the appropriate length. you don't need anything on the hammer pulley as the belts will self center and a two groove pully of the correct size is going to cost much less that one for a wide belt.

I'll second that! The only Little Giant I ever ran with a flat belt was the first one I ever owned.....and that was only because it came setup like that, and ready to run. All the other 25s and 50s that I've owned have been run like Bill mentioned.....2 "V" belts, and a dual V belt pulley on the motor. The tough part is getting a V belt on the main shaft.... I normally would purchase two pairs of belts, put all four of them on the main shaft, and then just tie/wire the spare pair out of the way somewhere on the frame. That way when a belt would go, I would just cut it off and put one of the spares in its place.

At one time I tried running the link belts, but never did like how they ran (most of the time they just slipped too much).

Sid at Little Giant might have one.

But like Bill and Ed, I just run two V-belts on my 100 and been using the same belts for over 10 years now.

Thanks for the information. It would be cheaper for me to just get a flat belt pully to replace the one that needs replacing. I have used the same flat belt for 15+ years and it is still in good shape.
