I was wondering if anyone has ever had any experience with puma knives.this model has been hard to find and very expensive ($167).I was just wondering if they are worth it or not.does anyone know of a good place to buy puma?
 
Actually the puma 971 is one of the most desirable knives in the game warden series. If you can find one for $167 (in mint condition) I would not hesitate in purchasing it. I have seen them go for as much as $400 on eBay, with the average price being somewhere between $250-$300
 
Yes that is a reasonable price, I think.
Go for an older model with date code on locking bar they are a very good knife. They no longer date code the bar & the quality isn't as good now.
