Puma lock-back knives date codes

Do all Puma knives have a number on the lock-back release? I have a Puma Gent with no number on the lock-back release but the blade says 104/RC. According to the Puma website the 104 means it was made in the first half of 2004. If there is no number on the lock-back release does this mean it is not a genuine Puma knife? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know much, but the Pumas I've seen have the number on the lock-back release.
