A little while ago I bought a new Puma 220 700. Its a small folder with bone handles. After I get home I discover that it had a defective locking mechanism. The knife show was out of town so I would have to sent it back to Coast Cutlery for a replacement. After paying for my own shipping and $5 for their shipping I now have a working knife that is poorly finished and not something that I want to carry. I didn't realize that Puma had slipped so far behind Buck, Case and Gerber.

Wrong place for this kind of comment, even though I agree with you about the quality of the current production Puma knives. This would be better voiced in the Good, Bad and Ugly area.

This thread is going from "Knives, Wanted to Buy" to "the Good, the Bad, the Ugly".
