Just wanted to share a pic of my Puma Universal, a modern one at that. Quality is still excellent, and a step above other "modern" Pumas.

I wouldn't doubt that she is German (the last line of text reads stainless - Handcrafted- Germany).

Also, regarding the nach Oberforstmeister Frevert- that text is a reference to the famous German hunter that worked with Puma to design that line of knives.

I think this is a genuine German made model as well. The Universal was (is?) Puma's flagship model and workmanship on this modern version is excellent and miles better than some of the other modern Puma knives, (I've owned a bunch of modern Pumas).
