I couldn’t find a recent thread for knives with punches/awls, so I decided to start one. If my search skills are flawed and there’s already a thread somewhere, please let me know.

I love punches and awls. Not only do they look cool, but they are very handy tools and don’t protrude from the blade well when closed.

Let’s see your best awls, new and old!

I believe the Ulster and Marbles have the Imperial-Schrade punch. I don't know what punch the Rough Rider has, only that it is different from the other three knives. It is more triangular in cross section than the Imperial-Schrade punch, and lacks the channel of the Robeson.

Well awl-righty, then. Is that awl you want?

A couple of action shots - punching pilot holes in corrugated plastic sheets, and making an improvised line guide for a mangled fishing rod tip:

(It looks like there are 3 others that beat me to the punch…)
